Welcome to Adaptable Support Services
Adaptable Support Services is an Ipswich disability service provider, providing disability support services in Ipswich, QLD and the Greater Brisbane area. With up-to-date industry informed practices and a creative, client-centric approach, we strive to provide the best quality supports for all of our NDIS clients.
We recognise that everyone’s journey is different, and that not every struggle is visible. As such, we aim to be an inclusive, equal opportunity employer, and provide a safe space for all who walk through our doors. Our services aim to a reflect strength-based, neuro-affirming, and a trauma-informed and guided approach.
Although we do not provide other services, such as disability support co-ordination, we are more than happy to refer you on to other providers and disability support coordinators if we are unable to provide you the services that you are looking for. Just reach out and let’s have a chat!

We provide community access that adheres to industry standards and guidelines. We place great value in the creativity of our staff and how this shapes our programs. We strive to provide fun and memorable supports, while also being goal-oriented and tailored to each client.

We base a variety of groups out of our North Ipswich Hub, and are setting up various groups beyond it.
Our current group include the:
Self Development: where we facilitate discussions between participants, about life-topics and life difficulties. The goal is to create a safe space where discussions, that may otherwise be hard to find a place for in day-to-day life, can be had amongst peers.
The women’s group runs every Thursday. We are currently taking expressions of interest for the men’s group.
Gaming Group:
Running every Friday, the group focuses on engaging gamers and those interested in popular-culture, in an environment of like-minded individuals, where all levels of ability are catered for.
The attendees have access to various games that promote creative thinking, skill building and are designed to be fun and socially engaging.
These range from card games, to table-top role-playing and war games, to gaming consoles.
Fitness and Nutrition:
Our latest group, starting in June, is split into 2 back-to-back sessions; (1) fitness/exercise and (2) nutrition.
Participants engage in low-level exercise and also get to learn about what their bodies need to grow strong and healthy.
We are currently taking expressions of interest.’
Coffee for Mums
A group run out of our hub, for mums on the NDIS. The goal is to prove them with a safe space to socialise, share their experiences and hopefully make some friends in the process.
We are currently in the process of setting ap the group and are taking expressions of interest.
